"Pioneer Peak"

I have fallen in love with mosaic-ing. I mosaic anything I can get my hands on. My husband and I run a game ranch (bison & elk) in interior Alaska.
Our website is www.bisonandelk.com
I have done bison, elk, bear, caribou, & sheep skulls (mosaic-d) along with old windows with Alaska scenes.
I have created mosaic-d frames & trays which were built by our local wood craftsman here in interior Alaska. There is not enough time in the day or days in a year to do all I want.
Please have fun viewing my work and remember, the skulls that I have used are a way to utilize the entire animal which I believe is so important when taking an animal for meat or a hunt.
I've also begun to experiment with fiber art. If you haven't given it a try, please do........start with a small piece and work with things you are familiar with and from your surroundings. It is VERY gratifying!
I just love it all!
I enjoy my quilting too so I've added those pages too.
